Job Description:

GLO Resources is currently hiring experienced Paint Protection Film Installer for a shop in Baton Rouge, LA. The pay rate is between $20-$30 per hour with a sign-on bonus depending on experience. Commission will be a possibility after the first 6 months. The schedule is Monday Friday, 8:30 am 5:00 pm with occasional overtime.

Position Summary:

This role requires experience in installing Paint Protection Film and applying professional-grade ceramic coating to vehicles. A passion for automotive protection, pride in workmanship, and customer satisfaction are key to success in this role.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Perform high-quality installation of Paint Protection Film on various vehicles.
  • Prepare and clean vehicle surfaces to ensure proper film adhesion.
  • Cut, align, and install PPF using appropriate techniques and tools.
  • Apply ceramic coatings on vehicles, including paint, wheels, glass, and trim.
  • Use heat guns, polishers, and detailing tools with precision and care.
  • Conduct paint correction or surface prep when needed before ceramic application.
  • Ensure finished work meets or exceeds customer expectations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
  • Safely handle chemicals and materials used in PPF and ceramic processes.
  • Educate clients on aftercare and maintenance for PPF and ceramic-coated surfaces.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in PPF installation and/or ceramic coating.
  • Knowledge of top brands (e.g., XPEL, 3M, STEK, Gtechniq, Ceramic Pro, etc.).
  • Certification from a leading PPF or ceramic coating brand is a plus
  • Experience with vinyl wrap or window tinting.
  • Comfortable with design software and plotters.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work on high-end/luxury vehicles.
  • Familiarity with paint correction and surface prep techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Manual dexterity and physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
